What Drives Me
I base my educational philosophy on my belief that children are incredibly malleable. They go through the transitions of their childhood soaking up good and bad experiences like a sponge, and this shapes what kind of person they will become. In their youth, children spend most of their time in school where educators need to provide positive influence and experiences. I work every day to be that positive influence. Too many times children are handed the short end of the stick and do not find the motivation to better themselves. It is a terrible cycle that happens far too often, and if I can do anything to help propel a student to success, then I know I am doing something worthwhile in my career.
